About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit and review AAC content for cultural accuracy, language/grammar use and regional relevance
- Adapt phrasing, vocabulary, and content to reflect local usage norms and real-life communication needs
- Provide expert review and insights from the perspective of the target regional AAC community
- Collaborate closely with an internal AAC Content Developer during the core project phase
- Ensure alignment with the established evidence‑based language approach
- Deliver timely feedback and edits during weekly remote review cycles
Requirements
What you’ll need- AAC Specialist, or professional background in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or Occupational Therapy with significant AAC experience
- Native speaker of the target language, with substantial residence in the target region (preferably including school years)
- Fluency in English
- Reliable communication habits and responsiveness via email
- Access to a Windows computer
- Academic or applied background in Linguistics
