Solutions Engineer

• Contribute to sales growth in assigned territory by increasing awareness, developing networks, providing information on Tobii Dynavox products, and assisting in the selection and sale of speech-generating devices
• Territory covers northern part of Los Angeles; candidate must live in the territory (Santa Monica, Burbank, Palmdale, Lancaster, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara)
• Work from home some days but requires significant travel within territory
• Attain sales quota by aggressively working the assigned territory, building strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales calls, and utilizing product knowledge to match customer needs with product capabilities
• Develop sales leads by researching disabilities, accounts, and technology
• Prepare and conduct presentations on products for therapists, medical and educational personnel and institutions, graduating speech-language pathologists, and potential client audiences
• Prepare sales packets and quotes and manage accounts
• Educate on funding process and third-party payer requirements; assist to ensure documents are properly prepared
• Collaborate with funding team on prior authorization and case submissions
• Sustain territory management through account maintenance, clinical support, participation in educational programs, and coordination of resources
• Work closely with other Tobii Dynavox employees to ensure sales opportunities are pursued and closed
• Conduct business/account reviews with management and customers
• Remain compliant with HIPAA regulations and Privacy laws while conducting business
• Prepare expense, special project, and sales forecasting reports
• Position requires extensive travel within the sales territory
• Perform various other tasks as assigned
