About the role
- Maintain and support improvements to the LMS, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Report bugs and unexpected behavior to vendor support and follow up until resolution
- Develop relationships with vendor customer support and establish feedback/escalation processes
- Serve as a bridge between Education and IT for technical configuration and system communication
- Support ongoing LMS improvements through requirements gathering, implementation, and testing
- Maintain LMS content by uploading files and making small adjustments as needed
- Train and support team members across the organization in use of the LMS
- Create and maintain internal business processes and documentation related to LMS use and protocols
- Maintain records of admin access tiers, permissions, and content update history for audits and reference
- Develop and oversee product review process and timeline; coordinate content reviews and updates with Graphic Design, Instructional Designers, and Subject Matter Experts
- Coordinate the team’s file management system to ensure updated files are stored and old files archived
- Maintain product inventory and an in-depth understanding of all Education products
- Review quotes and usage to recommend quote approvals and ensure product/pricing updates
- Participate in meetings with IT and liaise with other departments to represent education program enhancements
- Communicate changes to the education program throughout the organization
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Education Development Manager
- Reports to the Education Development Manager and works independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in learning management systems (open EdX preferred)
- Exceptional organization skills
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to follow project plans and adhere to all deliverables and deadlines
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to new and developing software and programs
- Ability to keep up-to-date on developments in e-learning, specifically as it relates to learning management systems and open edX
- Ability to work with a wide range of teams across the organization
- Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available
- Must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home
