About the role

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the general industrial sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capture market share.
  • Create and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead customer negotiations and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote TMEIC's offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
  • 5 years’ experience in sales management or direct sales in industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of industrial technologies and solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales process management.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Master’s degree in business or engineering.
  • Established network within the Canadian industrial sector.
  • Experience with large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
  • Fluency in French.
