About the role
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the general industrial sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capture market share.
- Create and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Lead customer negotiations and close sales effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote TMEIC's offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
- 5 years’ experience in sales management or direct sales in industrial markets.
- Strong understanding of industrial technologies and solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM software and sales process management.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Master’s degree in business or engineering.
- Established network within the Canadian industrial sector.
- Experience with large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
- Fluency in French.
