About the role

  • Taking responsibility and ownership of Anaplan system and development, including continuous improvement and review of existing structures and new development of models in line with reporting requirements.
  • Work with FP&A and other business SMEs on expanding on Anaplan use cases
  • Continuously updating model architecture to ensure alignment with changing business requirements and M&A activities.
  • Engage with IT to integrate data flows from other internal systems (e.g. Data Warehouse) / software (e.g. NetSuite, HiBoB) and Anaplan
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and user security controls and develop additional measures where necessary.
  • Design UX pages and dashboards aimed at increasing user engagement
  • Design, develop and deliver appropriate training (incl. training documents) to users depending on their various use cases
  • Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years L2/L3 Anaplan Model Builder (Master Anaplanner or Solution Architect preferable) with working practice of financial reporting and forecasting models
  • Working Knowledge of AnaplanXL, ADO, Workflow and other Anaplan tools and connectors
  • Strong Excel and data integration skills; detail-driven and collaborative.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and engaging with stakeholders, vendors (Oracle NetSuite a plus).
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Background in FP&A is preferable
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable
  • High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills
  • Strong self-management and motivational skills to learn and deliver on key responsibilities
  • Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Power BI and familiarity with data warehouses will be advantageous.
  • Experience within Financial Services sector would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining database MS Access, SQL experience advantageous.
