About the role

  • Conduct legal review of contracts and amendments from suppliers across all company departments, and draft new agreements when necessary.
  • Draft contracts and amendments related to Partnerships, Intermediation/Brokering, Mediation and Sponsorships, ensuring clarity, balance and legal protection.
  • Provide legal support in creating and updating partnership agreements, especially for projects related to implementing new legislation or regulatory adjustments.
  • Assess the legal feasibility of internal and external campaigns, including drafting and reviewing their terms and regulations.
  • Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines, and good communication practices.
  • Prepare notices, counter-notices, communications, letters, termination agreements (distratos) and release/settlement statements for suppliers, service providers and other third parties.
  • Legally review regulations and contracts for new software implemented by the IT department, assessing risks, compliance and applicable legal requirements.
  • Draft Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs) to ensure adequate protection of the company's strategic information.
  • Prepare legal studies and opinions on various topics to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Support the management of litigation and administrative proceedings across all areas of law.

Requirements

  • Law degree and active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
  • Preferred: Specialization in Contract Law or Corporate/Business Law
  • Preferred: Intermediate to Advanced English
  • Preferred: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Critical and strategic analysis of corporate contracts (commercial agreements, service contracts, supply, purchase and sale, lease, etc.), both as contracting party and as contracted party.
  • Good knowledge of civil law and civil procedure.
  • Knowledge of other areas of law such as consumer law, debt collection, judicial recovery and corporate restructuring will be considered a plus.
