About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer incoming customer calls and accurately process orders and requests
  • Enter orders into operating systems and pick orders at the shipping receiving dock
  • Maintain customer relationships and handle questions and concerns
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer complaints
  • Manage database records and draft status reports on customer service issues
  • Communicate order statuses and provide requested information
  • Process outgoing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments and carrier pickup requests
  • Process required shipment documents and provide copies to shippers/receivers
  • Process and receive incoming supplier shipments
  • Verify shipment quantities and pricing in operating systems
  • Report and dispute supplier discrepancies and follow up on credits
  • Communicate missing customer pricing to Management
  • Assist with process improvements, training initiatives, and overall customer service team success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experienced customer service representative
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Tire knowledge and experience beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passion for customer service
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional phone etiquette
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot with little guidance
  • Organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must live in Ontario
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada or not require future sponsorship
