About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage complex solid waste and remediation engineering and consulting projects
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic technical guidance and consulting support
Support practice growth through business development and client relationship management
Oversee project execution from investigation and planning through permitting, design, construction, and closure
Provide senior technical input and quality review for engineering evaluations and compliance-related submittals
Lead or support geologic and hydrogeologic investigations and interpretation of subsurface data
Mentor and support staff in technical problem-solving and professional development
Travel to client, project, and office locations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of relevant consulting or design experience focused on geoenvironmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, civil infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
Strong technical foundation in civil/environmental engineering and civil design
Demonstrated success in either business development, marketing, and client relationship management
Working knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and industry standards
Excellent technical leadership and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
Regional visibility, industry involvement, or an established professional network (preferred)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
