About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage complex solid waste and remediation engineering and consulting projects
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic technical guidance and consulting support
  • Support practice growth through business development and client relationship management
  • Oversee project execution from investigation and planning through permitting, design, construction, and closure
  • Provide senior technical input and quality review for engineering evaluations and compliance-related submittals
  • Lead or support geologic and hydrogeologic investigations and interpretation of subsurface data
  • Mentor and support staff in technical problem-solving and professional development
  • Travel to client, project, and office locations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of relevant consulting or design experience focused on geoenvironmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, civil infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
  • Strong technical foundation in civil/environmental engineering and civil design
  • Demonstrated success in either business development, marketing, and client relationship management
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and industry standards
  • Excellent technical leadership and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Regional visibility, industry involvement, or an established professional network (preferred)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
