About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform and review data and conduct analyses for complex mining projects
- Technical writing and complex data analysis
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients and regulatory personnel
- Fieldwork including travel to select project locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Less than 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and project-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, geoscience, or geoenvironmental engineering
- Understanding of mining operations and mine waste management
- Strong technical background in engineering and environmental practices/services for mining facilities
- Current MSHA New Miner or Annual Refresher Training
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for business travel
