About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with corporate accounting, finance and tax team to analyze financial information
- Liaison with the right people within the organization to gather the information required for analysis
- Understand the three financial statements of the firm, with focus on cash flow
- Understand the industry in which Geosyntec operates in
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (required)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program focused in Finance (required)
- Coursework in accounting and corporate finance (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (required)
- Ability to remain motivated even when performing repetitive tasks (required)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on skills leveraging Excel for complex tasks (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (required)
- This position requires the satisfactory completion of a background check (required)
