About the role
- Work with design templates for graphic applications such as collateral material, trade show graphics, brochures, magazine and digital ads, announcements, invitations, fliers, etc.;
- Execute design concepts and apply the corporate brand elements for the Geosyntec Family of Companies efficiently to maintain overall consistency;
- Prepare files for print (along with delivery, and proofing);
- Understand and work with the corporate brand elements for the Geosyntec Family of Companies;
- Create, modify, size, edit, and color-correct graphics, images; and
- Ability to work on deadlines independently and work well within the guidelines established by the marketing group.
- Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
Requirements
- An Associate’s degree and 2 years of graphic design experience (3+ years preferred), a Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of graphic design experience. (required)
- Full working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat. Illustration skills are encouraged. (required)
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word. (required)
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite, including PPT, Excel and Outlook. (required)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret marketing, technical, and other business documents. (required)
- Ability to quality-check materials that are organized, clearly presented and further the Geosyntec “brand”. (required)
- Ability to communicate with internal clients on graphics. (required)
- Reasoning Ability. (required)
- Ability to understand design methods and trends with the goal of creating and editing visual content (required)
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks in written, oral, or diagram form. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
