About the role

  • Developing site investigation, remediation, and monitoring strategies and plans for contaminated sites.
  • Managing tasks and projects, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff and managing subcontractors.
  • Developing work plans, evaluating environmental data, and preparing reports.
  • Reviewing and managing written document production.
  • Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.
  • Conducting and overseeing fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction.
  • Directing multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and Help broaden our reputation via publishing and attending prominent industry conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or related field. (required)
  • Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
  • Professional registration. (i.e., P.G., P.E.) (preferred)
  • At least 7 years (8+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
