About the role
- Perform and support task and project management functions, including the planning and execution of environmental projects, budgeting and financial oversight, adherence to schedules and quality standards, client satisfaction, and profitability
- Perform and manage technical projects in contaminant site investigation, mine reclamation, solid waste management, and energy transition
- Prepare technical reports, correspondence, memoranda, plans, and proposals
- Participate in meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
- Perform fieldwork such as multi-media sampling, drilling oversight, and contractor supervision
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or a related subject
- At least 5 years of direct environmental or civil consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
- Regular field work and overnight travel
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
