💰 $23 - $38 per hour

About the role

  • Collect samples and perform field tests on process water, surface water, and groundwater samples
  • Monitor activities on job sites to assure compliance with relevant contract documents
  • Provide CQA monitoring on several types of construction or environmental activities
  • Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports
  • Prepare water quality data summaries and reports and communicate with client representatives
  • Assure project documentation is correct and consistent with client contract requirements
  • Interact with project personnel and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach
  • Assist in the preparation of the final reports, work plans, health and safety documents
  • Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans
  • Perform tasks in other company practice areas as needed
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required)
  • Two (2) years of applicable experience (preferred) or an Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college
  • Bachelor's degree in science, construction management, engineering, physical science, environmental science, or related subjects
  • Technical experience in construction services, geotechnical, environmental, or related engineering disciplines
  • Experience ensuring field activities comply with construction plans and specifications
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Experience with the operation of typical monitoring and data collection equipment
  • Experience with multi-media sampling including soil, water, and air
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds unaided and 50-100 pounds with assistance
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation
