About the role

  • Undertaking the planning, analysis, permitting, design, and inspection of waterfront development projects
  • Generating and recognizing cost-effective and constructible technical solutions
  • Writing feasibility studies, technical reports, and construction specifications
  • Managing the production of engineering plans and drawings
  • Performing engineering calculations and critical reviews of technical reports
  • Inspecting and supervising onsite works during construction phases
  • Managing and controlling project budgets, programs, resources, and quality of production
  • Developing proposals in response to RFPs and project budgets

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in waterfront or coastal engineering field
  • Outstanding communication skills, with a specific focus on business/technical writing
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and/or GIS
  • General knowledge of surveying and surveying principles (preferred)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
  • Valid passport (or eligibility obtain) and ability/willingness to travel internationally
  • Boating experience (preferred)
