About the role
- Undertaking the planning, analysis, permitting, design, and inspection of waterfront development projects
- Generating and recognizing cost-effective and constructible technical solutions
- Writing feasibility studies, technical reports, and construction specifications
- Managing the production of engineering plans and drawings
- Performing engineering calculations and critical reviews of technical reports
- Inspecting and supervising onsite works during construction phases
- Managing and controlling project budgets, programs, resources, and quality of production
- Developing proposals in response to RFPs and project budgets
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in waterfront or coastal engineering field
- Outstanding communication skills, with a specific focus on business/technical writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and/or GIS
- General knowledge of surveying and surveying principles (preferred)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
- Valid passport (or eligibility obtain) and ability/willingness to travel internationally
- Boating experience (preferred)
