About the role
- Review and negotiate contracts
- Research legal issues and changes in the law
- Advise company management on risks or liabilities
- Provide guidance on contract or risk management related issues
- Work collaboratively with project or client managers
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- License to practice law in any U.S. state
- At least 5 years of contract law experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Excel and Access
- Ability to effectively present information
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and logical thinking skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various legal documents
