About the role
- Compile construction quality assurance (CQA) monitoring data
- Perform a variety of multi-media sampling efforts
- Oversee environmental and remediation construction projects
- Provide additional field and office support to geologists and engineers
- Monitor contractor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents
- Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports
- Interact with project personnel to cultivate an integrated team approach
- Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the project health and safety plans
- Perform tasks in other company practice areas as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Up to two (2) years applicable experience.
- Experience ensuring field activities comply with construction plans and specifications.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, including survey and topographical drawings.
- Experience with the operation of industry typical monitoring and data collection equipment.
- Experience with multi-media sampling including soil, water, and air.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word software programs.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds unaided and 50-100 pounds with assistance.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
