About the role
- Geotechnical and geostructural engineering design analyses such as deep and shallow foundations, earth retaining structures, ground modification, slope stability, settlement, seismic, and seepage
- Geotechnical site characterization
- Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems and construction data
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications
- Fieldwork associated with design and construction services
Requirements
- At least 7 years (8+ preferred) directly relevant experience in a consulting or other design role environment
- Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software (e.g., slope stability)
- Knowledge of numerical modeling tools (preferred)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Current OSHA 30-hr training and refreshers (preferred)
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
