About the role
- Contribute to advanced water and wastewater projects such as evaluating systems and designing solutions
- Conduct tests and oversee implementation
- Advance permits and coordinate with regulators
- Lead planning efforts and provide project management
- Participate in business development efforts, including attending conferences and assisting in proposal development
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, including internal and external
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering, with emphasis on process engineering or closely related discipline. (required)
- Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration or the ability to obtain P.E. registration within 1 year. (preferred)
- At least 5 years of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Experience with drinking water system permitting with the Washington State Department of Health Office of Drinking Water (preferred)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
- Demonstrated success in the management of clients. (required)
- Proven leadership skills. (required)
- Experience working on a variety of project types and in a variety of roles (e.g., project engineer and project manager) within the water supply industry (preferred)
- Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
