About the role
- Performing surface water field investigations
- Performing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations/modeling
- Maintaining monitoring equipment
- Managing, evaluating, and summarizing monitoring data
- Conducting dry and wet weather sampling
- Designing stormwater best management practices
- Preparing watershed based plans
- Conducting Construction Quality Assurance
- Analyzing data, including reviewing historical documents and preparing maps, tables, and figures
- Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a related field of study (required)
- Advanced degree in the same (preferred but not essential)
- Registered Engineer-in-Training, or ability to take exam within 6 months (preferred but not essential)
- At least 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
