About the role
- Conducting geotechnical investigations
- Evaluating subsurface improvement and foundation recommendations
- QA monitoring of heavy civil construction projects
- Performing and reviewing engineering calculations
- Preparing technical specifications and construction drawings
- Performing solid waste management facility design, permitting and quality assurance
- Conducting dam and levee inspections
- Contributing to proposals for professional engineering and construction services
- Writing and reviewing detailed engineering reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil and/or geotechnical engineering
- At least 2 years of work experience in engineering consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with geotechnical and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Slope/W, and PLAXIS
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, eBuilder
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
- Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization
