About the role

  • Assist with environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs)
  • Environmental compliance reporting and planning such as stormwater pollution prevention plan development
  • Researching, collecting, organizing, and summarizing historic environmental documents
  • Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
  • Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
  • Fieldwork such as site visits, soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight
  • Libraries, archives, and other records repositories for historical research

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering (required)
  • Advanced degree (preferred)
  • Prior internship or work experience in engineering consulting (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in engineering consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (required)
  • Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
  • Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization.
