About the role
- Assist with environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs)
- Environmental compliance reporting and planning such as stormwater pollution prevention plan development
- Researching, collecting, organizing, and summarizing historic environmental documents
- Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
- Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
- Fieldwork such as site visits, soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight
- Libraries, archives, and other records repositories for historical research
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering (required)
- Advanced degree (preferred)
- Prior internship or work experience in engineering consulting (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in engineering consulting or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (required)
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
- Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization.
