Performing and/or overseeing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies
Developing innovative green infrastructure solutions for the urban environment
Applying innovative hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, from 1-D to 3-D transport models
Floodplain mapping and flood protection designs
In-stream and urban stormwater water quality monitoring and modeling
Field investigations and construction support services
Managing municipal clients on stormwater retrofit and water quality projects
Preparing erosion and sediment control designs
Interacting with client representatives
Directing multi-disciplinary project teams
Driving personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources or other science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline (required)
At least 5 years of research or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
Experience with modeling and design software tools such as EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS (preferred)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)
Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization (required)
