Engineer

• Build and expand relationships with municipal, utility, state, and private clients to identify and pursue new water resources opportunities
• Lead proposal strategy, scope development, and budgeting for major pursuits in Florida and the Southeast
• Represent Geosyntec at conferences, workshops, and professional organizations to strengthen market presence and brand recognition
• Leverage existing relationships and industry visibility to open new markets and service lines within the water resources space
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented culture
• Lead project teams across disciplines and offices, integrating expertise from hydrology, geotechnical engineering, ecology, and data science
• Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and staff development across the region
• Manage and provide technical direction for projects involving sustainable green infrastructure planning and design; urban stormwater systems, flood control, and water quality improvement; hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and floodplain mapping; stream restoration and watershed management; climate resiliency and adaptation studies; dam breach and risk reduction studies
• Oversee preparation of engineering design documents, construction drawings, cost estimates, and technical specifications
• Ensure quality control, project profitability, and client satisfaction across all assignments
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
