About the role
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Manage key accounts and identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop customer proposals
- Take a lead role in customer meetings and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer opportunities, and sales activities in Pipedrive CRM.
- Attend major exhibitions and trade shows.
- Review and improve existing sales processes to enable the sales team to focus on winning business for the Company.
- Support prospecting and market research initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar role.
- Experience managing international key accounts
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering products and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
- Delivery on commitments.
- Requirement for travel.
- An ability to work independently and operate in a team environment.
- Must have permission to work in Ireland.
