About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Goal: Design the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to be as intuitive and efficient as possible for developers
Eliminate friction points in the software delivery process
Develop features for the IDP to enable applications to be deployed to the cloud quickly and independently
Design and implement self-service functions within the IDP and high-performance CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
Establish modern deployment workflows using ArgoCD
Support teams in taking ownership of their services from code commit through to stable operation in the cluster
Actively coach development teams and convey best practices in cloud-native development and deployment strategies
Automate application delivery using Helm
Improve developer-journey tools as a service-oriented bridge between development and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in software development or the DevOps domain with a strong focus on automation
Solid experience with GitLab CI, Helm, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Terraform / OpenTofu
Strong service orientation and excellent mentoring skills
Passion for simplifying processes and creating self-service infrastructures
Ideally, an interest in databases
Very good German skills (C1 or higher) and good English skills (B2 or higher)
