About the role
- Fundraising for innovation: identify, analyze and monitor funding opportunities, grants and innovation financing, including calls for proposals and support programs, assisting with the structuring, drafting, submission and follow-up of proposals in conjunction with internal teams and external partners.
- Awards and institutional recognition: identify outstanding projects and initiatives within the company and support the preparation and submission for awards, rankings, certifications and innovation recognitions, strengthening the company’s market positioning.
- Relationship with the innovation ecosystem: maintain and develop connections with startups, universities, research centers, tech companies, hubs and events, seeking opportunities, solutions and partnerships aligned with business challenges and strategy.
- Structuring and monitoring pilots and hypotheses: support the identification of internal challenges, structure value hypotheses and lead the organization, execution and follow-up of pilot projects and proofs of concept, ensuring learning and value generation for the company.
- Additionally, you will help organize and showcase the portfolio of open innovation initiatives, maintaining consolidated information about projects, partnerships, funds raised and results achieved.
Requirements
- Degree in fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Relations, Science and Technology, or related areas.
- Early professional experience (internship, junior analyst or relevant projects) in environments related to innovation, technology, research, startups, consultancies, R&D or digital transformation.
- Ability to organize activities, track deadlines, structure information and support project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external partners.
- Sustained interest in innovation, new business models, technology and developing solutions for real-world problems.
- Experience with funded projects, calls for proposals, public notices, grants or applied research.
- Experience with open innovation programs, accelerators, incubators or innovation hubs.
- Experience structuring or monitoring pilot projects, proofs of concept or innovation initiatives.
- Participation in submitting projects for awards, rankings or recognition initiatives.
- Experience in complex corporate environments, dealing with multiple stakeholders.
