About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a primary form of emotional support for students and faculty & staff
Expected time to spend with a client during a session is 20 minutes + 10 minutes for documentation (no more than 30 minute sessions total)
Provide remote care from the convenience of your home or office while maintaining a healthy work/life balance
Do not worry about reimbursement, billing codes, or insurance credentialing
Provide flexible hours that work for you
Engage with a population made up of highly motivated, high functioning students

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is REQUIRED
Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner - PLUS
Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or a college counseling environment
