Licensed Clinical Therapist – MT
TimelyCareRemote contracted therapist providing counseling and support for college students on the TimelyCare platform. Collaborating on treatment plans and documentation while maintaining flexible hours.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
- Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
- Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
- Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
- Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
- Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
- Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
- Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario
- Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
- Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC).
- Active State License in MT, additional state licensures a plus
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/deescalation and safety/treatment planning
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment.
