About the role
- Manage in an integrated manner tens of thousands of consumption points across hundreds of distribution companies, ensuring continuity of supply and mitigating operational and financial risks.
- Ensure adherence to internal standards (SOX, SAP) and external regulations (ANEEL, sector-specific regulation), preventing fines, liabilities and contractual breaches.
- Lead systematic invoice validation, prevent incorrect charges, drive recovery of significant tax credits, and closely monitor revenues from shared contracts and Distributed Generation (DG).
- Implement automation, digitization and artificial intelligence solutions applied to predictive consumption analysis and energy efficiency.
- Respond strategically to demands for cost reduction, competitiveness and sustainability.
- Ensure the reliability of the consumer unit database, consolidating information from distribution companies and related contracts.
- Ensure accurate validation of distributor billing.
- Support compliance with legal, contractual and audit obligations.
- Produce insights and financial, operational and energy-efficiency reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- MBA in Project Management (preferred); Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher (preferred)
- Experience in the Energy, Telecommunications, Retail, Consulting or Industrial sectors
- Professional experience in preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Strong analytical skills with experience preparing performance/results reports
- Experience in energy contract management and supply strategy
- Experience managing energy invoices, meter readings and payments, with expertise in account auditing and cost reduction
- Experience analyzing large datasets and using digital tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL or similar)
- Knowledge of AI and automation applications for consumption optimization and decision support
- Previous experience with electric sector regulation and compliance
