Benefits Professional – Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for managing, optimizing and innovating corporate benefits processes, ensuring correct operations, legal compliance, financial efficiency and alignment with internal policies and the company’s benefits and wellbeing strategy.
- Identifies improvement opportunities, balancing employee perceived value, operational efficiency and program sustainability through use of data, digital solutions and continuous improvement practices.
- Drives enhancements to the employee benefits experience, from eligibility and selection to utilization and post-use, supporting communications, engagement and perceived value of offered initiatives.
- Strategic and operational management of benefits
- Manage the corporate benefits portfolio, ensuring implementation, operation, vendor payment, SLA compliance, legal adherence and alignment with internal policies.
- Serve as the focal point with vendors, brokers, carriers and partners, leading negotiations, performance evaluations, contract reviews and discussions on adjustments.
- Administer flexible benefits and propose their evolution according to employee profiles, needs and company guidelines.
- Participate in benefits technical and financial committees, monitoring indicators, costs, risks and action plans to improve results.
- Prepare assumptions, monitor budgetary guidelines and support the annual financial planning related to benefits.
- Conduct diagnostics, market research, risk and opportunity analyses, proposing redesigns, harmonizations and new models with financial impact assessments.
- Monitor market trends, technology, employee experience and relevant benchmarks to ensure continuous program evolution.
- Map and monitor the employee journey with benefits, proposing actions to increase understanding, engagement and perceived value.
- Act consultatively with employees, HR Business Partners and HR areas, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting training and presentations about benefits.
- Build and maintain KPIs for costs, enrollment, utilization, satisfaction, efficiency and experience, turning data into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, management reports and executive presentations for continuous performance monitoring.
- Support benefits policies based on behavioral data and people analytics concepts.
- Identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities, proposing improvements for efficiency, standardization, scalability and reduction of rework.
- Assess and implement digital solutions, automations, integrated platforms and AI capabilities to optimize management, eligibility, granting and predictive analysis of benefits.
- Ensure governance of processes, with documentation, clear workflows, adequate controls and integration with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Internal Communications and external vendors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration or related fields
- Knowledge of SAP (PD2 and PD4 modules)
- Deep knowledge of benefits routines and processes
- Experience negotiating benefits and contracting vendors, especially in Health Plans and Private Pension
- Project leadership and experience managing data and analyses
- Advanced Office tools (advanced Excel is mandatory for this position)
