About the role

  • Responsible for optimizing access network element configurations to keep quality indicators within thresholds aligned with area targets and to maximize customer experience (CEX).
  • Assess variability in network indicators and implement action plans.
  • Coordinate and support vendor optimizers.
  • Optimize parameterization of access network elements to ensure CEX.
  • Manage the RF parameter baseline at a regional or national level.
  • Handle network complaints by performing diagnostics and routing to the appropriate resolution paths.
  • Analyze the impact of new feature deployments and monitor Day-After performance.
  • Evaluate drive-test and MDTs (Minimization of Drive Tests) periodically and on demand.
  • Liaise with peer areas across the company to ensure quality in a matrixed, end-to-end manner (Core, Transport, Operations, OSS, etc.).
  • Monitor tests and trials of new technologies and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of access and transport network technologies (3G, 4G, 5G; microwave (MW); fiber optic (FO); IoT, etc.).
  • Experience with KPI monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Customer Experience (CEX) tools.
  • Knowledge of IP networking.
  • Experience developing analytics.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP specifications.
  • Experience with crowdsourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and statistics.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Programming knowledge is desirable (VBA, Python, etc.).
