About the role

  • Extract data from multiple sources for ingestion into Big Data platforms, relational and non-relational databases.
  • Ensure that data is appropriate, accessible, and available.
  • Ensure alignment between operational data and the required and desired data model.
  • Optimize performance and scalability.
  • Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality.
  • Combine raw information from different sources to create consistent, machine-readable formats.
  • Develop and test architectures that enable extraction and transformation of data for predictive or prescriptive modeling.
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
  • Develop analytical tools and programs.
  • Contribute to fostering a Data-Driven Decision culture across the company, acting as an interface between technical teams and various business areas.
  • Provide data to Data Scientists and Data Analysts.
  • Work very closely with software development, as you will frequently handle data extracted directly from source systems.
  • Support the definition of the most appropriate architectural solution for automation projects, taking into account company best practices and available technologies.
  • Manage user access profiles for the developed platform.
  • Implement and manage APIs with corporate authentication (LDAP, OAuth2, JWT).
  • Produce indicators, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with data visualization and exploration tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Data Studio, Qlik, etc.).
  • Implementation of data pipelines (from ingestion to making data available for decision-making), including Data Quality and Data Lineage stages.
  • Proficiency in Vue 3+ and the Vue ecosystem.
  • Programming languages (SQL, Shell Script, R, Python, Scala, Java, etc.).
  • Lean/agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with task queues, preferably Celery and Redis.
  • Experience with Oracle, including writing optimized queries.
  • Technical knowledge of data structures (relational databases, non-relational databases, and Big Data).
  • Database management.
  • Data mining.
  • Data modeling.
  • Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, and structured and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of cloud data solutions (GCP, Azure, OCI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Nuxt (version 3 or higher) and Node.js.
  • Version control (Git) and Azure DevOps.
  • Basic knowledge of API Gateway and Service Mesh.
  • Basic UI knowledge.
