About the role
- Responsible for supporting and operating the company's operating systems, as well as resolving medium- and high-complexity technical issues related to systems and project requests.
- Participate in designing appropriate technical solutions through interaction with the areas/teams involved in the project/system.
- Execute high-capacity restores and changes.
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis in BSCSIX.
- Act proactively to ensure high availability.
- Contribute to project architecture from the operating-systems perspective.
- Implement Server/Storage and infrastructure solutions.
- Open support tickets with vendors.
- Perform performance analysis.
- Maintain cluster tools and cluster software.
- Participate in maintenance of DNS, AD, DHCP, Exchange and other Microsoft tools.
- Work with billing business rules for cycle releases.
Requirements
- Project Management
- Knowledge of DevOps
- Programming languages (SQL, Shell Script, Python, Scala, Java, etc.)
- Desired knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Unix, etc.)
- Desired knowledge of automation platforms (Selenium, Appium, Splunk, Control-M, Node-RED)
- Networking and storage
- Clusterware software
- Lean/agile development methodologies
- Billing systems (Postpaid/Control and Corporate)
- Analytics
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
