About the role
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and operations to design and iterate on user experiences from concept through launch.
- Design high-quality, consumer-facing web and mobile experiences with a strong focus on usability, clarity, and visual craft.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into practical, visually compelling design solutions that improve customers’ financial lives.
- Define, evolve, and uphold design standards and best practices across Tilt’s product ecosystem, helping shape the overall design culture.
- Translate customer insights, product requirements, and business goals into clear, intuitive user experiences and interfaces.
- Partner with marketing to extend product design into brand and growth surfaces, including web landing pages, lifecycle communications (email, push), and paid acquisition channels.
- Produce high-quality, on-brand digital assets that support customer acquisition, activation, and engagement, ensuring consistency across product and marketing touchpoints.
- Collaborate to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand expression across product, marketing, and communications.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on designs, incorporating feedback from cross-functional partners and performance data; experience running AB tests and tracking user behavior to validate assumptions.
- Use qualitative and quantitative signals to evaluate design effectiveness, including product metrics and creative performance, and apply learnings to future work.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience across product design, UI/UX, visual design, or digital design.
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing digital or mobile products; own design projects across the entire product lifecycle and iterations that follow
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across product, brand, and growth design (e.g., product flows, landing pages, email, paid ads).
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (Sketch acceptable); fluency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong eye for typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience rapidly iterating designs and building prototypes.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate user needs into thoughtful design solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to give and receive feedback constructively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-driven environment. Fintech experience is a plus, but not required.
- Fluency in Spanish.
