About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end delivery of complex analytical initiatives from question framing to stakeholder presentation.
Support ad-hoc analysis providing interpretive framing and actionable recommendations.
Operate as a trusted analytics advisor across departments, challenging assumptions where data conflicts.
Design and support A/B test experiments with valid methodology, communicating findings to stakeholders.
Act as Google's GA4 subject matter expert, owning GA4 reporting and tracking validation.
Design, build, and maintain high-performing Explores and dashboards in Looker, ensuring documentation and consistency.
Proactively maintain the accuracy of production dashboards and resolve data quality issues promptly.
Write high-quality SQL, collaborating with Data Engineers for efficiency in analytical workloads.
Mentor Junior Data Analysts to enhance team capabilities and standards.
Apply AI tools to accelerate analytics workflows and develop self-serve analytics agents.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years total experience in data analysis and analytics.
4-5 years experience with advanced SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization).
3-4 years expert in Looker (LookML development, Explores, dashboards).
2-3 years experience with GA4 implementation, configuration, and reporting.
1-2 years preferred Python experience for data manipulation and automation.
2-3 years experience in A/B testing and experimentation with statistical testing.
3-4 years in statistical analysis including descriptive and inferential statistics.
1-2 years using LLM and AI tools (e.g. GPT-4) hands-on.
4-5 years in stakeholder management skills with cross-functional collaboration.
3-4 years in business analytics (customer analytics, KPI development).
2-3 years mentoring junior analysts and enforcing coding standards.
