About the role
- Craft technically rigorous narratives,
- Build and publish performance benchmarks,
- Contribute example queries and reference architecture
- Help technical decision-makers understand why Tiger Data is the Postgres for real-time and AI-native applications.
- Develop messaging that resonates with infrastructure teams, architects, and hands-on builders.
- Translate Postgres-powered architecture into clear, compelling positioning—across time-series, vector, and hybrid workloads.
- Craft developer-native language that bridges Tiger Data’s real-time performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Create hands-on technical content including benchmark reports, engineering blogs, product walkthroughs, and demo apps.
- Design and run benchmarks that demonstrate Tiger Data’s performance and architectural advantages.
- Collaborate with engineering to test ingestion rates, query throughput, latency, and vector retrieval speed.
- Collaborate with technical writers to shape documentation, onboarding guides, and tutorials.
Requirements
- Deep infrastructure experience—understanding how modern data systems are built, deployed, and scaled.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query planning, and performance tuning.
- Experience designing or running technical benchmarks, ideally in high-ingest or real-time environments.
- Ability to communicate complex infrastructure trade-offs to developers in clear, actionable terms.
- Strong writing skills with a portfolio of technical blogs, docs, or reports.
- Comfort collaborating across product, engineering, docs, and GTM teams.
- Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate)
- Time-series architectures
- Event streaming and orchestration tools (Kafka)
- Previous work in developer tools, AI infrastructure, or open-source ecosystems
