About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, configure, and deploy enterprise network solutions (SD-WAN, SASE, Wi-Fi, firewalls)
- Champion managed services – Act as a trusted escalation point, blending hands-on support with strategic consultancy to ensure customer networks remain resilient, optimized, and aligned with SLA commitments.
- Own the lifecycle: Lead projects from presales and scoping through design, staging, installation, documentation, and handover.
- Be the trusted advisor: Guide customers on secure connectivity, digital transformation, and best practices.
- Collaborate and share: Bring new knowledge to the team, mentor others, and help us all get better every day.
- Drive innovation: Spot opportunities to improve, automate, and adopt new tech—don’t wait to be told.
- Represent TIEVA: Attend customer meetings, present confidently, and build strong relationships.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 (or working towards)
- Certifications: Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) in Network Security (Ideally FortiGate and FortiManager)
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise (or relevant track) – strong foundation in advanced routing, switching, and enterprise networking.
- Working towards Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) in Secure SD-WAN and SASE
- Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) in Mobility and ClearPass; Aruba Certified Expert (ACX) a big plus
- Barracuda Certified Engineer (BCE) or equivalent (CloudGen Firewall, Email Security Gateway)
- Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE certifications
- Technical Expertise: Core networking: Strong foundation in TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, switching, and security design.
- Modern architectures: Delivered enterprise SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust solutions to support hybrid and cloud-first strategies.
- Advanced technologies: Applied IP fabrics, VXLAN/EVPN, SDN, and automation to standardise and optimise network operations.
- Key vendor expertise: Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager), Cisco (routing & switching), Palo Alto (PCNSE), and Aruba (ClearPass, Mobility).
- Professional skills: Confident communicator and presenter
- Experience managing multiple client environments in an MSP setting
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and project delivery
- Personal qualities: Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
- Passionate about learning and growth
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
