About the role
- Senior DevOps engineer/architect for HCI project (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) enabling Azure services to run locally on Azure Stack Hub
- Write and maintain Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code templates and create modular, reusable Terraform modules
- Automate provisioning processes for virtual machines, networks, storage in Azure Stack Hub
- Develop Python scripts for resource management, monitoring, and integration with APIs (e.g., Azure REST API)
- Automate post-deployment configuration and custom logic not covered by Terraform
- Work with virtualization layer technologies (Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct) to support Azure Stack Hub deployments
Requirements
- Background in DevOps engineering/architecture within hybrid cloud and virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct)
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform – writing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code templates and creating modular reusable modules
- Hands-on experience with Azure Stack Hub and its services (VMs, App Services, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience automating provisioning processes for virtual machines, networks, storage
- Experience with Python scripting for resource management, monitoring, and API integration (e.g., Azure REST API)
- Ability to automate tasks not covered by Terraform (post-deployment configuration, custom logic)
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
- Active English knowledge
