About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions
  • Manage cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS and smaller workloads in Azure and GCP
  • Lead and mentor other engineers and act as an escalation point during India working hours
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based and networking issues
  • Architect and implement cloud-based solutions using containers, Kubernetes, Argo CD and GitOps
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business needs
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud computing technologies
  • Hands-on coding and implementation of Infrastructure as Code

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in distributed computing
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Experience with Argo CD
  • Experience with APIs and containers
  • Experience with cloud security
  • Hands-on coding in Python, Java or Go
  • GitOps as a deployment methodology
  • Experience with Agile ways of working
  • Experience in Pair Coding
  • Ability to automate - Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
