About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify scope and requirements
Develop complete bid packages including equipment, labor, and treatment systems
Size dewatering systems (pumps, piping, filtration, tanks, etc.) based on project conditions
Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for submission
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to confirm pricing and availability
Track bid opportunities and deadlines to ensure timely submissions
Communicate with general contractors, project managers, and clients as needed
Assist with handoff to project manager after award

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5+ years of experience in construction estimating, inside sales, or a related field
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
High attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Excel and other general estimating tools
