Analyze and model financial performance of wastewater treatment projects, including cost-per-gallon and fixed-fee structures.
Develop detailed financial models incorporating CAPEX investment, cash flows, amortization schedules, and input costs.
Partner with commercial, technical, and operations teams to support pricing strategy and deal structuring.
Evaluate projects during the design and proposal phase to ensure financial viability and alignment with company objectives.
Track project performance post-implementation, including actual vs. forecasted financial outcomes.
Identify variances in cost, margin, and performance, and recommend corrective actions.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline analysis related to project-based revenue.
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate technical project inputs into financial insights.
Play a role in supporting ERP/CRM initiatives.
Assist leadership in prioritizing opportunities and allocating capital effectively.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in FP&A, project finance, or similar roles
3+ years experience in the water treatment industry strongly preferred
Experience modeling capital-intensive projects and long-term contracts
Strong understanding of cash flow modeling, CAPEX vs. OPEX structures, and pricing strategies
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
