Salary
💰 $120,000 - $140,000 per year
About the role
- Own and operate the full FP&A lifecycle: annual budget, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly performance management
- Serve as the primary finance partner to business units and support functions
- Build and maintain integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, working capital, capacity, scenario modeling)
- Own management reporting and KPI cadence — define the metrics, create the dashboards, and run the rhythm of the business
- Translate operational drivers into financial insight and decision support
- Analyze COGS, margins, working capital, and capital efficiency to surface actionable improvement opportunities
- Proactively identify risks, tradeoffs, and performance gaps; bring recommendations, not just analysis
- Drive improvements to FP&A systems, tooling, and data flows as the company scales
- Partner closely with Accounting on forecast accuracy, close alignment, and GAAP-to-operational bridge
- Support strategic initiatives including capacity expansion, new product launches, M&A, pricing decisions, and investment cases
- Act as a thought partner to the SVP of Finance on company-wide planning, investor reporting, and strategic finance priorities
- Opportunity to grow into broader Strategic Finance/M&A work as the company scales
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, IB/Consulting + operating company, or similar analytical leadership roles
- Proven experience in a scaling, fast-paced organization — ideally manufacturing, industrial, chemicals or other inventory-heavy businesses
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing economics, and operational KPIs
- Track record of owning zero-base budgeting and planning processes end-to-end (budgeting, forecasting, reporting cadence)
- Advanced financial modeling skills (P&L, cash flow, scenario modeling, unit economics)
- Excellent business partnering skills — able to influence operators and senior leaders with data-backed insight
- Strong GAAP foundation and ability to bridge accounting to operational forecasting
- Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills; comfort with manipulating large data sets
- Highly self-directed; comfortable operating with ambiguity and building structure from scratch
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex analysis for non-finance stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
- Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
