About the role
- Provide legal advice to the Asia Pacific real estate business
- Oversee investment activity, including fund transactions
- Manage legal risk for the business
- Assist with acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and related integration processes
- Collaborate with the wider legal team to develop policies and guidelines
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with experience gained in house in financial services or a similar regulated business or with an internationally recognised legal firm
- Demonstrated experience in real estate law, including experience in due diligence, leasing and developments
- Experienced in fund transactional law including complex real estate funds and joint venture structures (on and off shore) and associated agreements
- Management of fund transactions and managing external counsel
- Cross border experience, and language skills are an asset
