About the role

  • Oversee Ramp Bill Pay (our accounts payable system), employee credit cards, and employee reimbursements.
  • Prepare and assist with balance sheet reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, etc.) and journal entries.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables.
  • Provide documentation and assistance during annual external audits.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen accounting processes.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance and operational teams to support monthly reporting packages.
  • Partner with the Finance team to support the annual budgeting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s of Accountancy is a plus
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license or working toward a CPA license
  • Proven knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formatting
  • Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct is a plus)
  • Experience with Ramp is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and a willingness to apply them to accounting workflows is a plus
