About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee Ramp Bill Pay (our accounts payable system), employee credit cards, and employee reimbursements.
Prepare and assist with balance sheet reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, etc.) and journal entries.
Collaborate on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting deliverables.
Provide documentation and assistance during annual external audits.
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen accounting processes.
Work cross-functionally with Finance and operational teams to support monthly reporting packages.
Partner with the Finance team to support the annual budgeting process.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s of Accountancy is a plus
1+ year(s) of experience in accounting or related field
Active CPA license or working toward a CPA license
Proven knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formatting
Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct is a plus)
Experience with Ramp is a plus
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and a willingness to apply them to accounting workflows is a plus
