About the role
- Act as the embedded technical expert within the Business Development team.
- Support partner evaluation and deal structuring through technical feasibility assessments.
- Lead technical discovery with partner teams to surface integration opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering for alignment with Thumbtack’s strategic roadmap.
- Develop and maintain solution playbooks and integration frameworks.
- Partner with teams to ensure healthy integrations post-launch.
Requirements
- 7+ years in solutions architecture, technical partnerships, sales engineering, or solution consulting.
- Strong expertise in APIs, data integrations, and system design.
- Proven ability to support deal cycles as a trusted technical advisor.
- Demonstrated success in guiding external partners through integration design.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building new functions or playbooks.
