About the role
- Handle the tactical responsibilities of inventory planning
- Track purchase orders from order placement to Distribution Center
- Monitor transfers and maintain accurate data across systems
- Prepare reports for informed business decisions
- Assist planners with purchase orders, run reports and manage communications with vendors
- Maintain item master data in ERP system
- Collaborate with merchandising & sourcing teams to create new SKUs
- Monitor backorder reports and slow-moving inventory
Requirements
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Excited to grow analytical skills, practice accuracy and precision, and build proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) to support data-driven decisions.
- Process-Oriented: Eager to learn established systems and contribute ideas for improvements that make processes more efficient over time.
- Curious & Growth-Minded: Motivated to approach new challenges with a learning mindset and excited to build knowledge in supply chain, finance, and operations as Thuma continues to grow.
