Software Account Representative – Australia, New Zealand
ThryvSoftware Account Representative driving sales across Australia and New Zealand. Managing leads and closing deals in a hybrid role with local impact.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively self-source leads and connect with business owners via phone, SMS, email and virtual meetings (approximately 70% of your time)
- Meet clients face-to-face in your local market to build trust and close deals (approximately 30% of your time)
- Manage the full sales cycle — from first contact and pitching through to close and 6 months of post-sale account management
- Collaborate with Software Sales and Client Success Managers to deliver demos and turn curiosity into commitment
- Achieve monthly sales targets and activity KPIs with personal accountability and discipline
- Maintain clean pipeline records and manage your own follow-up cadence across calls, texts and emails
- Dedicate time each day to training, coaching and continuously levelling up your skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven full sales cycle experience — you've prospected, pitched, closed and managed accounts independently
- Driven and dynamic — goal-oriented, resilient and thriving in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment
- A natural communicator — you build trust quickly and tailor your message to different business owners
- Tech confident — comfortable learning new systems and using tools like Thryv to work smarter
- Commercially aware — you understand what matters to business owners and use that knowledge in every conversation
- Relationship-focused — your work doesn't end at the close, you genuinely invest in your clients' success
- Call centre or corporate experience is nice to have — but mindset, hustle and results matter most.
