About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively self-source leads and connect with business owners via phone, SMS, email and virtual meetings (approximately 70% of your time)
  • Meet clients face-to-face in your local market to build trust and close deals (approximately 30% of your time)
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from first contact and pitching through to close and 6 months of post-sale account management
  • Collaborate with Software Sales and Client Success Managers to deliver demos and turn curiosity into commitment
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and activity KPIs with personal accountability and discipline
  • Maintain clean pipeline records and manage your own follow-up cadence across calls, texts and emails
  • Dedicate time each day to training, coaching and continuously levelling up your skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven full sales cycle experience — you've prospected, pitched, closed and managed accounts independently
  • Driven and dynamic — goal-oriented, resilient and thriving in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment
  • A natural communicator — you build trust quickly and tailor your message to different business owners
  • Tech confident — comfortable learning new systems and using tools like Thryv to work smarter
  • Commercially aware — you understand what matters to business owners and use that knowledge in every conversation
  • Relationship-focused — your work doesn't end at the close, you genuinely invest in your clients' success
  • Call centre or corporate experience is nice to have — but mindset, hustle and results matter most.
