About the role

  • Develop and monitor detailed project workplans, timelines, and milestones
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of project team and external partners; track deliverables and prepare progress updates
  • Provide support and guidance to CCR&Rs to maintain project implementation fidelity
  • Support implementation of research activities (surveys, interviews, focus groups, data collection protocols) and ensure IRB/ethical compliance
  • Oversee data management, documentation, and quality assurance; contribute to final implementation report
  • Serve as primary contact for project team, community partners, and funders; schedule and facilitate meetings
  • Monitor project expenditures; assist with financial tracking and funder reporting and deliverables
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and quarterly in-person meetings; contribute to publications, resources, and campaigns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in social sciences, education, public health, public policy, or related field
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience managing research or evaluation projects (minimum 2 years preferred), preferably in a nonprofit or community-based context
  • Experience with funder or grant reporting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills in working with multi-disciplinary/multi-system teams
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; discretion and judgment with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Proven ability to work independently with self-direction and collaboratively as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs and basic office technology; ability to learn other software tools
  • Commitment to equity and community-engaged research practices
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and ability to travel statewide, including overnight stays as needed
