About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Study for and obtain necessary resident-state and securities/insurance licenses during the first 8 to 13 weeks
  • Potentially enroll in a comprehensive 6-week training program after licensing
  • Build a book of business with the goal of joining the sponsoring team as a traditional financial advisor
  • Meet potential clients and build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals
  • Educate and empower clients regarding investments, insurance, retirement and generosity
  • Build a personal network through local nonprofits, churches and businesses
  • Develop financial-advisor skills and best practices
  • Serve clients with mentorship through joint field work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Fingerprinting
  • Securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high-quality work during frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information
  • Necessary licenses may include resident-state Life, Health and Annuity; SIE; Series 6 and 63; Series 7 and 66; or Series 7, 63 and 65
